About TotalCare IT
Our president and founder, Aaron Zimmerman, established TotalCare IT in 2007 after dedicating over 20 years to corporate IT. Aaron was driven by a vision to support and protect Idaho business owners in a way that wasn’t being offered at the time. The idea of bringing fully managed IT to small businesses was relatively new and tremendously increased the productivity and profitability of our clients.
Over 17 years later, we still support and protect Idaho businesses, now specializing in the manufacturing and construction industries. We deliver a comprehensive service that includes an IT service desk, advanced cybersecurity, strategic technology planning, and virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) services to ensure your IT infrastructure aligns with production goals. We also educate our clients on cyber safety and data compliance regulations to keep them informed and secure.
We also work with mid-market manufacturers that have an in-house IT team. This service is called Co-Managed IT because we supplement the teams of these clients with whatever service gaps they are experiencing. Whether that's us tackling IT projects and cybersecurity, or taking over helpdesk responsibilities, we can fit our service in wherever it makes sense for these larger companies.
We have staff in Idaho Falls, Boise, and remote locations, as well as an internship program with the College of Eastern Idaho. We are all animal lovers and for your viewing pleasure, you can see our pets below.
Our Team
Aaron Zimmerman
PRESIDENT & CEO
Aaron has been in the IT industry for over 30 years. After working corporately for many years, he founded TotalCare IT in 2007 to bring enterprise-level IT support and security to SMBs in Idaho. He loves empowering businesses through technology, people, and process.
Aaron is married and has three children. When Aaron is not working, he can be found reading, gardening, listening to health podcasts, or traveling. He is also a Sci-Fi enthusiast.
Seth Wilson
Operations Manager
Seth manages the day-to-day operations of TotalCare IT.
Seth grew up in Pocatello but chose to make the Treasure Valley home after retiring from the Army. A lifelong sports fan, he rarely misses an NFL game, especially when the Dallas Cowboys are playing. Seth enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three sons playing sports, camping, biking, or just being outside - the Wilsons are always up for an adventure.
Nick Burrows
Primary Systems Engineer
Nick oversees all aspects of security and compliance, ensuring both our internal operations and client services meet the highest standards. Nick is also one of our senior cloud infrastructure engineers.
Nick lives in the Idaho Falls area with his wife. He has four children and a dog. When he is not typing or using a computer mouse, he can usually be found reading, watching a movie, or with a Rubik’s cube or deck of cards in his hands.
Chelsea Kitchev
Marketing Manager
Chelsea's area of expertise is digital marketing. Her talent is research and the distillation of information. You will be hearing from Chelsea in our weekly client newsletters.
She is an Army veteran, married, and has two special needs Tabby cats. When not working, Chelsea's interests include video games, board games, traveling, and spoiling her cats. She also likes researching conspiracy theories and watching thrillers. Chelsea is Aaron's daughter.
Wilby Cabrera
Service Desk Engineer
Wilby has over a decade of experience in the managed services industry, which has provided her with extensive exposure to a wide range of technologies and networking equipment, as well as many industry environments.
Wilby is from Cebu, Philippines, a vibrant city known for its rich culture and history. Outside of her professional life, she has a passion for cooking and is an avid foodie, constantly exploring new flavors and culinary adventures.
Cody N.
Centralized Services Engineer
Cody is responsible for maintaining and improving the core systems, tools, and automation that support all clients—rather than working directly on individual tickets or projects. His job focuses on creating standardized, scalable, and proactive solutions across our entire client base.
Cody’s hobbies seem to be all tech-related, including building computers and exploring the intersection of hardware and software. Fueled by an insatiable curiosity, Cody continually pushes the limits of what technology can achieve.
Ashley Wheeler
Marketing Coordinator
Ashley's roles include general administrative work and helping in the marketing department.
Ashley lives in Southeast Idaho with her husband and three children. They are a big outdoors family who love to go camping, fly fishing, and bow hunting (they own Back Cast Fly Co. in Rexburg). When Ashley isn't working or carting her kids around to activities, she enjoys reading, true crime, and making bread & homemade butter. Ashley is also Aaron's daughter.
Zac Guo
Systems Engineer
Zac has more than 15 years of experience in IT management. He has a Master's in Cybersecurity and an MBA in IT management. Zac is also a Certified Ethical Hacker Master and Cisco Certified Network Professional.
He's a meat lover and Keto zealot, as it helped him through a health crisis in 2023. Zac loves to cook all kinds of food, and his favorite dish is scrambled eggs with lamb slices. He says: “The best category of food is protein.”
Ben Lewis
Service Desk Coordinator
Ben leads our service desk, triaging helpdesk tickets and scheduling on-site visits. He is responsible for maintaining our average rapid response rate of 19 minutes or less.
Ben is a US Marine Corps veteran and a full-time student going through the cybersecurity program at CEI (almost done!). In his spare time, Ben loves studying the humanities, participating in winter sports, and camping with his wife and dog. He is also a new dad.
Ray Belden
Service Desk Engineer
Ray works in our Boise office. He primarily works our service desk responding to client tickets, but he is also frequently found at our Boise data center managing the cloud infrastructure hardware.
Ray was born and raised in Montana. He and his wife have three kids and four cats. Ray loves to hike and goldpan in the nicer months. His other hobby is building model ships. He is also a huge Star Trek nerd.
Ferdie Miraflor
Service Desk Engineer
Ferdinand "Ferdie" has had an exciting career in IT so far, most recently working in Dubai for a futuristic tech company.
Ferdie is happily married and enjoys spending his free time with his wife. Their shared love for travel and coffee takes them to various destinations and cozy cafes. They enjoy going to the beach every once in a while to recharge. When they’re not out exploring, Ferdie likes to stay at home to study technology, particularly networking.
Chris Gibbons
Professional Services Engineer
Chris started at TotalCare IT as an intern when he was going through the cybersecurity program at CEI. After graduating, he was hired on full-time to deliver project-based solutions to our clients—such as system deployments, network upgrades, and cybersecurity enhancements.
Chris likes to spend time outdoors and with friends, family, and his dogs. He enjoys playing video games and Magic the Gathering or tinkering with computer programs and hardware.

Trent is an Intern from the cybersecurity program at the College of Eastern Idaho.
