TotalCare IT Remains Operational During COVID-19 Pandemic; CEO Calls
for Increased Home Office Security
Coronavirus has reached pandemic level. This is how an Idaho IT company is responding.
March 13, 2020 — TotalCare IT has announced its commitment to stay open and operational to its clients amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, which has not yet officially reached Idaho. As precautions for the safety of employees and clients, TotalCare IT told clients they would cease all non-critical on-site customer visits, relying on remote fixes. As modern technology allows for deep remote management, this plan does not adversely impact the quality of service TotalCare IT will be able to provide its customers.
TotalCare IT encourages companies that have employees working from home to broaden their cybersecurity measures. “Please remember that security is even more important right now,” wrote Aaron Zimmerman, TotalCare IT CEO. “Cybercriminals are taking advantage of people working from home on unsecure networks and hacking businesses. As your IT Advisors, we are here to help you in setting up industry standard security and VPN connections for your employees who are working from home.”
TotalCare IT will continue to monitor the COVID-19 spread, and update clients accordingly.
